The heartbeat of any church is missions. Cloverleaf is involved in various mission endeavors locally, nationally and internationally. Our mission group is called “Cloverleaf on Mission For Christ,” consisting of both men and women who meet regularly to plan and initiate mission projects.  We often schedule mission speakers to share about their work and how we can be involved in the practical aspects of missions. Several mission fundraisers are held each year in addition to our systematic giving through our church budget to the Cooperative Program which funds many missionaries.

Annual missions offerings include:

The Fred Tucker Offering – Ministering to the poor, the homeless, the needy, the refugee, the immigrant, and the forgotten.
The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering – Enabling missionaries to be sent to make disciples and multiply churches among unreached people and places.
Eliza Broadus Offering – Supporting state missions in church planting, evangelism, and outreach to communities, seniors, students, and more.
The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering – Supporting North American missionaries in evangelism and church planting, and providing missionary training.

EASTERN KENTUCKY Mission Project – Helping with food, clothing, coats, and toys for children
Local Missions Projects:

Sunrise Children’s Services – Cloverleaf helps provide needed resources through financial donations or a “food round-up.” Our members sign birthday cards to be sent to the displaced young people who reside there, and have presented them with a gift of handmade quilts.

Louisville Rescue Mission, formerly known as Jefferson Street Baptist Center – This mission located in the heart of downtown Louisville exists to extend gospel-centered mercy to the homeless and hurting. We have participated in serving Thanksgiving Eve dinner, delivering donations of clothing and personal hygiene items, and helping organize their donations closet.

Scarlet Hope – This program takes the gospel to females involved in adult entertainment and seeks to point them to a new and better way of life. We help provide the meals that are taken to women in the clubs as they are ministered to with the love of Christ.

Backside at Churchill Downs – Every year, members of Cloverleaf provide a potluck meal and a church service for stable workers who live at the backside.

Choices For Women  – This resource center helps care for those dealing with unplanned pregnancies and helps make a life-honoring outcome possible. We periodically contribute to their Baby Boutique.

Haiti Missions – Some of our members have participated in mission trips to Haiti through Brent Gambrell Ministries, assisting with tasks like Vacation Bible School and building homes.
